Hertz to Seconds Converter
Convert wave frequency in Hertz (Hz) to period in seconds or milliseconds.
Frequency vs Period
Hertz (Hz) measures frequency, or how many times an event repeats per second. The "period" is the inverse: how many seconds it takes for exactly one event to happen.
The Formula
The relationship is simply Period = 1 / Frequency. So a 60 Hz monitor updates 60 times per second, meaning one frame takes 1/60th of a second (about 16.67 milliseconds).
